The leader calls to combat the removal of forests on Natl. Erbour Day



Speaking on the occasion of the National Arbor Day as well as the National Week of Natural Resources in Tehran on Wednesday, Ayatollah Khounai looked at the cultivation of trees that cultivate a profitable and aspiration and generate wealth.

While emphasizing the need to pay serious attention to the national trees cultivation movement that started last year during the former Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, he advised people to participate in the movement of trees cultivation as a good and good work, so that the living environment and life become new and clean by increasing the number of trees.

He said that the cultivation of trees is a profitable investment in many aspects, adding that the cultivation of trees for any reason, whether to take advantage of the beneficial fruits of trees or to use trees of valuable trees, is a completely profitable procedure.

While emphasizing the need to take the national movement to grow trees in the serious consideration that started during the former Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, the leader stated that this wonderful plan is still continuing and showing that the cultivation of one billion trees in four years is practical, so that governmental organizations must help people in this regard.

The leader also stressed the importance of urban vegetation, and called on the authorities to prevent the loss of trees in cities.

Ayatollah Khounai added that the green spaces in Tehran, in particular, must be protected from the beneficiaries.

Ayatollah Khounai said that the responsible government institutions should work to develop green spaces in the country and maintain groundwater layers.

“The implementation of this policy can help prevent particles and flood pollution,” the leader pointed out.

Arbor, which is celebrated every year to promote the development and preservation of green spaces throughout the country, is based in the National Week of Natural Resources.

On the day of Arbur, which fell this year on Wednesday, Iranian individuals, groups and activists are planting trees and encouraging others to do so.
