In response to unfounded allegations by senior British officials against the Islamic Republic of Iran and accusing Iran of trying to interfere in internal affairs in the United Kingdom, the British ambassador was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Director General of Western Europe at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in this meeting that biased positions and baseless claims from British officials against Iran “contradict the principles and standards of international law and diplomatic customs, and will intensify the lack of confidence of the Iranian state of British policies towards Iran and the West Asian region.
