During the Tehran week, the Tehran Museum of Carpets revealed one of the most prominent historical carpets in the country-a rare masterpiece in 1344 by students in the talented palace era at the girls ’school at that time.
Mohamed Gavad Innlo, director of the Tehran Carpet Museum, described the carpet as not only a unique artistic creation but also a historical document that reflects the cultural identity of Tehran.
For several centuries, Persian carpets weave stories of art, heritage and identity on each topic. More than just floor covers, these masterpieces embody the deep cultural fabric of Iran – from ancient craft techniques that are transmitted across generations to complex designs that reflect myths, nature and spirituality.
