Mirzakhani needs to remember him in inl. Mathematics Day



International Mathematics Day (IDM) is a global celebration. Every year on March 14, all countries are invited to participate through the activities of both students and the general public in schools, museums, libraries and other spaces.

The Iranian Iranian mathematician, Maryam Mirzakhani, died in 2017.

On the anniversary of Mary, at the 2018 World Mathematics meeting held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the Iranian Sports Association suggested that her birthday set (May 12) for a day to celebrate women in mathematics. The proposal was approved.

Mirzakhani, Professor of Stanford University, obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (1999) from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran.

Later, she got a doctorate from Harvard University and was a pioneering researcher in complex surface dynamics and engineering. In 2014, she became the first Fields medal winner, a more popular mathematics prize.

A winner of various medals in mathematics such as Wields Medal, Clay Research Award, Blumentel Award, and Roth Little Satter Award in Mathematics, and Invisible Mirzakhani’s contributions in this field, and her career paved her way forward in front of many mathematical women.
