In a joint official statement on Monday, Fatima Muhajrani, a government spokesman, along with Ali Rabi, a consultant to the President of Iran, and Zahra Peruz Azar, a female deputy family and family affairs, celebrated the achievement of the extraordinary team.
The spokeswoman said that this prolonged and inspiring victory by our deaf national team in Voltal was a wonderful new news because it was achieved when the country was going through difficult war days.
Officials described the achievement as a reflection of Iranian flexibility, national solidarity and spiritual power.
They praised the team’s design and courage, noting that this championship exceeds the victory of medals, and hesitated a strong message of perseverance, faith and unity all over the world.
Iran won the title by beating Brazil 2-0 to win the Deaf World Championships for the year 2025 held in Monteselvano, Italy, from 14 to 27 June.
