Speaking in an interview with MehR News Agency, the Deputy Director of Knowledge -based companies at the Iranian Deputy Presidency of Science, Technology and Economy has placed that Tourj Amraei on the current share of knowledge -based companies in the production of total local products (GDP) by about 2 percent.
For this reason, it is necessary to increase sales and exports as quantities of knowledge -based local products, as he emphasized.
It is planned that the share of knowledge -based companies will reach more than seven percent by the end of the social, economic and cultural development plan for a period of five years.
In other parts of his statements, he pointed to the exports of knowledge -based products and stated that the country is currently exporting $ 500 million of knowledge -based products abroad.
He added that once export barriers are removed, exports of knowledge -based products in the country will increase.
