Mehdi Alavi, spokesman for the Iranian Football Federation, said that President Mehdi Taj will travel to Istanbul this week, and that the Iranian delegation will sign a memorandum of understanding with its Turkish counterpart, the Tehran Times reported.
According to Alavi, the Iranian and Turkish national football teams will meet in a friendly match in 2025.
The memorandum of understanding aims to facilitate the exchange of views on technical issues, friendly matches at all national levels, and the establishment of the training camp.
