A ministry statement said that the number of Palestinians included four Palestinians killed by Israeli fire and another who died from his wounds during the past 48 hours.
The ministry said that nearly 111,845 others were injured in the Israeli attack in Gaza since October 2023.
“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads because rescuers are unable to reach them,” he added.
The ceasefire has been suspended and prisoners exchanged in Gaza since January 19, which has stopped the Israeli war, which caused widespread destruction and left the Palestinian jeep in a state of ruin.
Despite the ceasefire, the local authorities in Gaza reported violations that impedes it almost daily by the Israeli army.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest orders in November last year to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Secretary Jaff for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces the issue of genocide in the International Court of Justice for its warfare.
