The prices of different types of Iranian crude oil for the third month of 2025 were announced by the company’s international affairs directorate.
Accordingly, light crude oil in Iran in northwestern Europe and South Africa will be offered at $ 1.85 over the ICE BRNT standard in March.
Meanwhile, heavy crude oil will be priced in Iran $ 0.05 above the ICE BRENT standard, and Iranian oil raw oil will be offered at $ 0.15 above the same standard.
In the Mediterranean market, light crude oil in Iran will be priced at $ 1.95 over the Brent ice standard, while heavy crude oils and Forezan will be priced at $ 0.15 and $ 0.05 under the Brent ice standard, respectively.
It is worth noting that the ICE BRNT standard was used to pricing Iranian crude oil in the northwestern European markets this month. This standard is derived from the average price of Brent crude, likely on the London ice stock exchange, in the days when more than 1000 pieces are traded (equivalent to one million barrels of oil).
It should be noted that this standard change has been implemented in the past due to organizational amendments or customer preferences and not unprecedented.
