Iran wants global peace, stop wars: President



During a meeting on Wednesday with the new Swedish ambassador to Tehran, Matthias Ustrastide, President Bezishian stated that Iran believes in resolving issues through dialogue and violence.

After receiving the Utestretid credentials, the President Bouchakian referred to the long diplomatic relationship between Iran and Sweden, expressing his hope that the ambassador of the new ambassador to Tehran would reinforce relations across various sectors.

At a separate meeting, the Iranian president also received credit papers for the new Czech ambassador to the Tehran Vitezlav Grepl.

Pezeshkian said that strengthening mutual relations between countries can reduce many tensions and enhance better coexistence between people.

Both Swedish and Czech ambassadors conveyed their countries’ commitment to expanding economic relations with Iran.

At the end of the meeting, the talented Czech Ambassador Pezeshkian presented a carved wooden painting, to celebrate the historical meeting between the representatives of Shah Abbas Safafid and Czech officials 400 years ago.
