Foreign Ministry spokesman said yesterday that Abbas Aragchi would travel to Muscat at an official invitation to participate in the eighth Indian Ocean surrounding summit, which will be hosted by Oman, India, and Singapore in Muscat.
The eighth edition of IOC will be held in Muscat, Amman, from 16 to 17 February, 2025 under the subject of “a trip to new maritime partnerships”. This edition will highlight the importance of totalitarianism and build new partnerships in the marine sector. It aims to enhance cooperation between countries and institutions to confront common challenges, enhance communication, and enhance sustainable development in the region. The event is expected to host the participants from more than 60 countries and international organization, which reflects the strategic importance of the region and the need for cooperative solutions.
In addition to participating and presenting a letter at the summit, the Iranian Foreign Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with foreign ministers and other officials participating in this event, the spokesman said.
