This came during statements by the Iranian Minister of Economic and Financial Affairs, Ali Madani Zadeh, on the sidelines of the Dushanbe Invest 2025 International Investment Forum, stressing that Iran attaches great importance to its relations with Iran in the fields of trade and economics.
The Iranian Minister of Economy stressed the importance of fraternal relations and close cooperation between the two countries, noting that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian always focuses in particular on expanding relations with neighboring Tajikistan in all fields.
Madani Zadeh took this opportunity to express his thanks for the principled and courageous position of the Tajik government in condemning the attacks of the Zionist regime and the United States against Iran, and considered it a sign of deep understanding of the sensitive conditions in the region and the necessity of supporting lasting stability and security.
Regarding relations between Iran and Tajikistan, he pointed out that relations between the two countries have recorded significant growth, especially in the last year.
Regarding the circumstances that paved the way after the American-Israeli aggression against Iran, he pointed out that activating the mechanism for re-imposing sanctions and tightening sanctions paved the appropriate ways for developing and deepening relations between the two countries.
He pointed out that the two countries have great potential to strengthen their relations in all fields, adding that specialized Iranian companies have expressed keen interest in participating in the implementation of power station projects, road construction, housing and urban development in Tajikistan.
Madanizadeh added that Iran is ready to establish a joint science and technology complex, develop knowledge-based companies and digitalize the economy in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Invest-2025 Dushanbe International Investment Forum kicked off in the capital of Tajikistan, bringing together more than a thousand participants from dozens of countries to explore opportunities in green investments, sustainable development and the digital transformation of the national economy.
