In a video message on Friday, Nasrallah urged all those who hold a passion for Hassan Nasrallah to prove their loyalty by joining the funeral ceremony. He said that the event would be an opportunity for them to announce their position.
The Lebanese Hezbollah will be buried its former leader, Hassan Nasrallah, on Sunday, February 23, in southern Lebanon, nearly five months after its death in a huge Israeli air strike in Beirut.
His son said: “The enemies, opponents, and the perennial have made every effort to prevent the ceremony from attending.” “The least we can do for those who want to attend the funeral is to admit that you are loyal and committed.”
Nasrallah also addressed those who might hesitate to attend, to remind them that his father stood firm against “fierce storms” for decades, and recently, Israel has come to thousands of tons of bombs and ammunition on Lebanon. “Your presence on Sunday is not just a presence; it is a declaration of your position.”
The funeral of Sayed Hashem Sanddin, Deputy Nasrallah and former head of the Hezbollah Executive Council will be held on Sunday. He was killed in an Israeli blow in October.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Asmaeel Bajia said earlier that Iran will attend the funeral at the highest level.
