Ben Gvir will reportedly resign from the Israeli government tonight

According to Al Jazeera, Israeli media sources announced that Ben Gvir, the so-called Minister of Internal Security in the Israeli regime, will leave the government after the announcement of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

An Israeli newspaper wrote, citing sources close to Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Zionist entity, that Ben Gvir, who opposes the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, will resign from the government.

Israeli media reported that the Israeli government will meet on Friday to approve a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Al Jazeera quoted an Israeli media outlet as saying that the Israeli security cabinet “will meet first to approve the ceasefire agreement in Gaza on Friday morning,” citing a high-level Israeli source.

“After the security cabinet meeting, the cabinet is expected to vote on the deal. Israeli ministers have not yet been summoned to discuss the deal.”

A ceasefire agreement was reached in the Gaza Strip mediated by Qatar, the United States, and Egypt, and is supposed to enter into force on Sunday, January 19. In the first phase of this agreement, which is scheduled to last for 42 days after two days, Hamas will hand over 33 Zionist prisoners (living and dead) in exchange for the release of a number of Palestinian prisoners.
