Al Shorta file complaint in Iraq against Esteghlal to FIFA

The Iraqi football team, the Shorta, filed a complaint with the Asian Football Association (AFC) against Estaglal from Iran after they tied 1-1 in the Monday match.

The complaint revolves around the presence of Armen Sorabian in the Estegl team in the elite match in the Champions League last night. Shorts claims that Sorabian played for three different teams this season and that his presence in the Estigl team is against the FIFA rules. According to international rules, the player can sign with three clubs during one season, but he only plays for two people.

The case was appointed for review by the AFC and the results will be announced.
