He went on to say that the main initiatives include the port’s tariff reforms, increasing foreign/local investments, and improving operational efficiency.
The focus was on the development of smart ports and the integration of digital systems as part of the Iranian marine modernization on the agenda of the organization in the current Iranian calendar year (starting March 21, 2025).
Rasouli stressed the importance of coordination between the marine, railway and road sectors to enhance national trade and communication.
