He stressed the importance of sending commercial delegations and participating in commercial events, saying that the presence of merchants, merchants and economic actors in exhibitions and commercial events will help enhance commercial growth.
The Iranian official also repeated the country’s interest in strengthening trade relations with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and called for a strong presence for Armenian companies at the European International Trade Exhibition.
The Deputy Minister of Economy in Armenia Edgar Zakharian emphasized the historical friendship between the Iranian and Armenian people, saying that this could play a major role in enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
“Armenia is ready to cooperate with Iran across various sectors to enhance mutual trade relations,” Zakarian said.
He referred to the extensive capabilities of economic cooperation between the two neighbors and stressed that taking advantage of these opportunities would help in achieving their commercial goals.
Zakarian also expressed Armenia’s readiness to follow up on economic and commercial issues through specialized working groups.
Iran and Armenia signed a trade -off trade agreement on the sidelines of the third European Economic Forum in Yerevan last October.
The agreement was signed by the President of TPO, Muhammad Ali Daighan Dahnafi, in the presence of the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade, Muhammad Atabick, and the Armenian Minister of Economy Jeffurg Babuian.
According to the agreement, the two countries will appoint representative companies to implement the trade -off trade three months after the signing of the agreement.
Iran is viewing barter agreements as a major tool to avoid US sanctions that restrict their access to international trade.
The signature of the deal came after Iran opened its commercial center in Yerevan. The center, which was built on an area of 18,000 square meters, contains 107 kiosks and kiosks that sell Iranian consumer goods, chemicals and other industrial products. Armenian companies also have a stake in the retail and wholesale sale facility.
The Iranian ambassador to Yerevan Mahdi Sobani described the establishment as “the largest Iranian commercial center in the world”, saying that it would lead to a significant increase in trade relations between Iran and Armenia.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the parties stressed the removal of obstacles, banking restrictions and banking services, which facilitates the issuance of guarantees for Iranian technical and engineering services in Armenia and some other customs restrictions.
The Armenian team announced the decision of the Armenian government to invest in the Iranian port of Chabahar.
He also pointed to the importance of opening a mall in Iran in Armenia, and called ATABEK to obtain support and help in establishing an Armenian business center in Iran.
Iran and Armenia seek to increase the value of their trade relations to $ 3 billion annually. Iran is also considered Armenia as a circulation gate with Eurasian Economic Union members (EAEU).
Iran and Eaeu, which includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, are in a preferential trade ranking, but they will implement a free trade deal signed in December of last year as soon as Parliament from both sides is ratified by the agreement.
