Speaking at the signing ceremony of contracts to enhance production in South Pars, he stressed the need for planning and unit to address continuous problems instead of setting the blame.
“I am not here to direct fingers on who is wrong,” Pizchkian said. “Our focus is on planning and solving these problems as possible.”
The president apologized to the producers and industrialists for the lack of sufficient support during the winter season, but he pointed out that, thanks to the collective efforts, he left no citizen without gas. He also thanked the audience for his participation in the “2 Less Stand” campaign, which encouraged energy conservation.
Pezeshkian stressed the importance of limiting energy consumption and the most prominent progress in increasing crude oil and diesel production. He acknowledged that the challenges facing Iran did not appear overnight and require a sustainable effort to the solution.
The President pointed to great steps in energy production, including efforts to pick up incandescent gases in Khuztan, which has been lost for years. Nearly 40 million cubic meters of incandescent gases have already been collected, with plans to capture an additional 40 million cubic meters by next May. By the end of the Iranian evaluation year 1404 (March 2026), the country aims to eliminate gas burning, which contributes to both energy waste and environmental pollution.
Pezeshkian has identified plans to improve efficiency in diesel, gas and oil consumption to enhance exports. He also announced plans to add between 30,000 to 40,000 megawatts of electricity from renewable and thermal sources to the national network. However, he warned that these initiatives require time and opportunity to implement.
In their commentator, the efforts of the United States to reduce Iranian oil and gas sales, called on the president to unity, scientific cooperation, and to avoid political conflicts. “They are seeking to sow the dispute between us,” he said. “Our focus on planning and problem solving, not on blame. Some claim that the fourteenth administration does not have plans, but the programs are ready in all fields and will be implemented once we reach a common understanding.”
Pezeshkian has warned that conflicting business schedules and bureaucratic delay hinder progress. He emphasized the need for experienced experts and professionals to align their efforts and decisively implement plans. In a society that has leadership, we must advance together. If everyone insists on their own path, the chaos will follow. “
