The authorities said they were investigating the deadly collision that occurred at Marana Regional Airport, northwest of Toxon, on Wednesday.
The Federal Aviation Administration said that two companies, Lancir 360 MK II and Cessna 172s, collided at 8:30 am local time.
He added that the regional airport in which the accident occurred is a “field that is not subject to control”, which means that it does not have a monitoring tower for the air movement.
Each of the two planes was passengers on board.
The accident comes weeks after the air collision between an army helicopter and a commercial plane in Washington, where all 67 passengers were killed on the plane, making it more destroyed by American aircraft in about a quarter of a century.
