At the conclusion of his visit to Pakistan on Monday while speaking to reporters, General Bagheri said that Iran was invited to participate in the upcoming naval exercise “Aman-25”, hosted by the Pakistan Navy, adding that Iran agreed to participate.
The multinational naval exercise AMAN-25, scheduled to be held from February 7 to 11, 2025 in Karachi, has received significant attention, especially with expectations that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy will actively participate.
“The most important topics discussed today was the issue of improving and strengthening security in the two countries [through cooperation]The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces told reporters that issues related to the common border and dealing with terrorists in the border areas were discussed and decided upon in detail.
He continued, “Expanding relations between the Iranian and Pakistani armed forces in various fields was also discussed.”
Bagheri also said that there were lengthy talks on issues of common interest in the region, including Afghanistan, where Iran stressed the need for mutual coordination.
