Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht Ravanchi held talks with his counterparts from the Group of Three (Britain, Germany and France) in Geneva, Switzerland on Monday.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi also attended the negotiations.
On Tuesday, Takht Ravanchi also held a separate meeting with Enrique Mora, European Union Affairs Coordinator, in Geneva.
This round of talks was held in continuation of the New York talks in October and the Geneva talks in December.
After the talks, Gharibabadi wrote in a Persian-language post on the website Nuclear power, which is necessary to reach an agreement.”
The diplomat added in his post: “There was a consensus on the need to resume negotiations and create and maintain a favorable atmosphere by all parties to reach an agreement. It was agreed to continue the talks.”
